I Could Have Given You the World

What you need: A ROM of 007: The World Is Not Enough (USA), revision 0, dumped from your own cartridge.
I Could Have Given You the World is a native PC and Steam Deck port of the Nintendo 64 version of 007: The World Is Not Enough. It is built with N64: Recompiled, which turns the game’s machine code into C, and is drawn with the RT64 renderer. The recompilation runs on your own computer the first time the game starts, from the ROM you supply.
It adds widescreen and ultrawide support, interpolated frames for high refresh rate screens, mouse aiming and twin-stick controls. Many changes are aimed at a modern shooter feel: larger magazines and ammunition pools, faster reloads for some guns, stronger gadgets, better jumping and ladders, and quick wheels for weapons, gadgets and vision modes. Toggles include Nightfire-style grappling, hold to sprint, tougher or invincible friendly characters and regenerating health, and there are cheats such as invulnerability and all weapons.
The author started it for their own playthrough. The download contains no ROM or game assets. It needs the USA revision 0 ROM, dumped from your own cartridge.
How to set it up
- Download the Windows
.exeor the Linux and Steam Deck AppImage. - Put your ROM next to the program, or select it when asked on first launch.
- The first launch compiles the game from your ROM. Later launches reuse the result and need no internet connection.
- Saves, settings and generated files are kept in the
datafolder next to the program. Keep that folder when updating.
