gopher64 is a Nintendo 64 emulator written in Rust by Logan McNaughton, who previously developed simple64. After gopher64 was started in 2023, simple64 was archived, and gopher64 is now where his N64 emulation work continues.

It uses the parallel-RDP renderer, which runs the N64's graphics chip on the GPU through Vulkan, and aims for high compatibility. Features include peer-to-peer netplay, upscaling, a CRT shader, CPU overclocking, cheats, save states, RetroAchievements and support for homebrew. A portable mode keeps all data next to the program.

Official builds are standalone executables for Windows (x64 and ARM64) and Linux (x64 and ARM64), an app bundle for Apple Silicon Macs and an APK for Android. It is also available on Flathub and through Homebrew. gopher64 is licensed under the GNU GPL version 3 and is actively developed.
