Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins
Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins was developed by Nintendo R&D1 and released for the Game Boy in 1992. While Mario was away, Wario took over his castle, and Mario must collect six golden coins from zones such as Tree Zone, Space Zone and Macro Zone to open its gates.
It has larger sprites than the first Super Mario Land, a map to choose the order of the zones, and a save battery. It was Wario’s first appearance.
A static recompilation runs the Game Boy game natively, with an optional colour mode and widescreen.
