Pokémon Emerald
Pokémon Emerald was developed by Game Freak and released for the Game Boy Advance in 2004 in Japan and 2005 elsewhere. It revisits the Hoenn region of Ruby and Sapphire, with both Team Magma and Team Aqua as villains and Rayquaza at the centre of the story.
It added the Battle Frontier, animated Pokémon sprites, double battles with partners and support for the wireless adapter. It is one of the best-selling games on the system.
A static recompilation runs the Game Boy Advance game natively.
