About the Game

MOTHER 3 was developed by Brownie Brown and HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance in Japan in 2006, after years of development on the Nintendo 64 and 64DD. It follows Lucas, his family and the people of Tazmily Village as the Pigmask Army changes their island.

The game was never released outside Japan; a fan translation into English, released in 2008, is how most players outside Japan know it. Its turn-based battles add a rhythm system, in which pressing the button in time with the music chains extra hits.
