Mega Man Zero was developed by Inti Creates and published by Capcom for the Game Boy Advance in 2002. Set a century after the Mega Man X series, it follows Zero, woken by the scientist Ciel to defend the Resistance’s reploids from the city of Neo Arcadia and its leader, a copy of X.

It is a demanding side-scroller with a Z-Saber, a buster and collectable Cyber-elves, and missions are ranked at the end. It began a series of four games.

A static recompilation runs the Game Boy Advance game natively.
