RascalBoy Advance was another promising GBA emulator. It emulated the vast majority of the GBA's features, and was seen as one of the few real rivals to Visual Boy Advance in both compatibility and features.

It supports local multiplayer through a special plugin, which lets up to four copies of the emulator connect to each other. It was one of the first emulators to do this.

Development stopped suddenly, and the emulator has not been updated since. RascalBoy Advance still runs many games well, but modern emulators such as mGBA are more accurate and better maintained.
