What you need: A disc image of Super Mario Strikers (USA, Europe or Japan) as ISO, GCM, CISO or GCZ, or its extracted files, dumped from your own disc.

Strikers is a native port of Super Mario Strikers for Windows, Linux and macOS, built on the community decompilation led by Yannick Suter and drawn with Aurora through Direct3D 12, Vulkan or Metal. There are Linux builds for x64 and ARM64, and the Linux build also runs on the Steam Deck.

It supports high frame rates, widescreen and ultrawide with a wider view of the pitch, higher internal resolutions, MSAA and texture packs. Controls can be remapped, button prompts follow the controller in use, loading is faster than on the console, and US, European and Japanese discs all work from one program. A separate settings app handles graphics, controls, audio and the game data location.

The author describes the port as complete from their side and welcomes forks. The download contains no game data. It needs Super Mario Strikers, dumped from your own disc.

How to set it up

  1. Download the archive for your system: Windows, Linux x64 or ARM64 (also for the Steam Deck), or macOS on Apple Silicon.
  2. Extract it to a folder.
  3. Run strikers-settings (strikers-settings.exe on Windows) to set the location of your game data, graphics and controls.
  4. Run strikers (strikers.exe on Windows) to play. The project wiki has a page for each system.
