> Dan_Tsukasa's retexture makes Twin Snakes look older and more worn, closer to the PS1 original, with the snowy areas rebuilt from scratch.

Dan_Tsukasa felt that Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes looked too clean and high-tech, more like Metal Gear Solid 2 than the Shadow Moses of the PS1 original or Metal Gear Solid 4. This retexture gives most areas an older, more used look while keeping their original feel.

The snowy areas got a complete overhaul. The Heliport, for example, now shows the night-time snowstorm the scene is supposed to take place in, which the original textures never conveyed.

Character textures were taken out of the pack, so this release leaves the characters as they are. Dan_Tsukasa did almost all of the work single-handedly.

## How to set it up

1. In Dolphin, open **File > Open User Folder**, then go into `Load/Textures/`.
2. Extract the download there, so you end up with a `Load/Textures/GGS/` folder.
3. Open **Graphics > Advanced** and tick **Load Custom Textures**. Ticking **Prefetch Custom Textures** too stops stutter, if you have the RAM for it.
