What you need: Dolphin and your own copy of the GameCube game. The textures are laid out for the Spanish PAL release (GLOS69), the one the pack was tested on; other releases may not pick up every texture even with the folder renamed.

The128ReBits' pack is a finished HD texture remaster of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, made for the GameCube version running in Dolphin. It covers the whole game, from the Mines of Moria to Helm's Deep: the environments, the characters and the interface all get sharper textures.

The textures were upscaled with AI-assisted tools, then picked and cleaned up by hand: well over a thousand of them were chosen and tested in game one by one, so the result keeps the original look and dark tone instead of a blanket filter. Only textures change. Models, audio and gameplay stay as they were, and the game itself is not included.

There are two editions, and only one is needed. Native is the full-quality set; Lite is a smaller download that suits PCs and devices with less memory. The screenshots were taken at a 4K internal resolution with ReShade, which are separate Dolphin settings and not part of the pack.

## How to set it up

1. In Dolphin, right-click the game and open **Properties > Info** to see its Game ID, such as `GLOS69` (Spain) or `GLOE69` (USA).
2. Open **File > Open User Folder**, go into `Load/Textures/` and extract the download there, so you end up with a `Load/Textures/GLOS69/` folder. For another release, rename that folder to your game's ID; some textures may not match.
3. Open **Graphics > Advanced** and tick **Load Custom Textures**. Ticking **Prefetch Custom Textures** too stops stutter, if you have the RAM for it; leave it off on low-memory PCs.
