The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is an action adventure developed by Nintendo EAD, released on the GameCube in Japan in 2002 and elsewhere in 2003. Its cartoon-like cel-shaded look divided players at first but is now widely admired.
Hyrule has been drowned under the Great Sea. After his sister is carried off by a giant bird, Link sets out with the pirate Tetra and the talking boat King of Red Lions to rescue her, sailing between islands and using the Wind Waker, a conductor’s baton, to change the wind’s direction and play songs. Ganondorf is behind it all. The game was remade in HD for the Wii U in 2013.
