Mars' The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures Texture Pack
Mars set out to fix how muddy Four Swords Adventures looks. The new textures are eight times the size of the originals and keep their pixel ratio, and they were remade with a mix of redrawing, retracing and Waifu upscaling for a sharp, clean picture. The idea is to show the game’s 1:1 sprites the way the developers likely meant them to look.
The pack is made for the NTSC-U release (G4SE01) and is incomplete. Version 0.2 added stages 2 and 3 of Level 2, Village of the Blue Maiden and the Eastern Temple.
How to set it up
- In Dolphin, open File > Open User Folder, then go into
Load/Textures/. - Extract the download there, so you end up with a
Load/Textures/G4S/folder. - Open Graphics > Advanced and tick Load Custom Textures. Ticking Prefetch Custom Textures too stops stutter, if you have the RAM for it.
