Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean is a role-playing game developed by Monolith Soft and tri-Crescendo and published by Namco in 2003. It is set on islands floating in the sky, and the player acts as a guardian spirit guiding the hero Kalas.

Fights, items and equipment all use Magnus cards, which capture the essence of objects. Its painted backgrounds are one of the reasons it is a popular game for HD texture packs.
