SuperGCube is a continuation of the open source GameCube emulator GCube. Its developers chose to make it a Windows-only project to reduce the amount of work needed to get games running.

They built on GCube's code because of its efficient, highly optimised emulation core.

The core runs at a reasonable speed but only has an interpreter. A recompiler was planned, but the developers put the project on indefinite hiatus.
