GCEmu is a very incomplete GameCube emulator, designed as a proof of concept rather than for everyday use.

Its aim was to show that the GameCube could be emulated at a reasonable speed with the right recompilation techniques and other tricks.

Development of GCEmu appears to have ended some time after its release in 2005.

For general use, Dolphin is a far more complete GameCube emulator. GCEmu is mainly of interest to anyone curious about older emulators and how GameCube emulation improved over time.
