The Simpsons Game
The Simpsons Game is an action platformer developed by EA Redwood Shores and published by Electronic Arts in 2007. It was written by writers from the television series, and the cast voices their characters.
After Bart finds a manual for a video game about the family, the Simpsons learn that they are video game characters and gain powers such as Homer turning into a ball and Lisa’s Hand of Buddha. The levels parody other games and genres, and the family ends up confronting their creator, Matt Groening.
A native PC port of the Xbox 360 version, made by static recompilation, runs on Windows and Linux.
