Lollipop Chainsaw

Lollipop Chainsaw is a hack and slash action game developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment in 2012, with Kadokawa Games publishing it in Japan. Goichi Suda (Suda51) was creative director and James Gunn wrote the story.

Juliet Starling, a cheerleader from a family of zombie hunters, fights her way through San Romero High School and the town around it on her 18th birthday, with the severed but still talking head of her boyfriend Nick hanging from her belt. Combat mixes pom-pom attacks with chainsaw combos, and beheading several zombies at once earns bonus medals.

A native Windows port, Re-Cherry, is made by static recompilation with ReXGlue.
