Overview

Multiple LanguagesMod Support

Eternal Sonata: Reprise is a native port of the Xbox 360 version of Eternal Sonata for Windows, Linux, macOS and Android, made by static recompilation with the ReXGlue SDK. The recompiled game is wrapped in a small host runtime with overlays and hooks for modding.

It loads the game from the European, American or Japanese release, can show the Japanese language, title screen, save portraits and fonts in any version, and version 1.2.4 restored graphical effects that were missing on Windows.

The download contains no game data. It needs Eternal Sonata for Xbox 360, dumped from your own disc.

How to Set It Up

  1. Download the build for your system: Windows, Linux (x64 or ARM64), macOS (Intel or Apple Silicon) or Android.
  2. Extract the archive (or open the .dmg, or install the .apk) and run eternalsonata.
  3. The first run asks for your game and extracts it.
  4. If the window stays black on Windows, start it with the environment variable SDL_JOYSTICK_DIRECTINPUT=0.
