Eternal Sonata
Released: 2007
Console: Xbox 360
Developer: tri-Crescendo

Eternal Sonata is a role-playing game developed by tri-Crescendo and published by Namco Bandai Games, released for the Xbox 360 in 2007 (as Trusty Bell in Japan) and for the PlayStation 3 in 2008.

On his deathbed in 1849, Frédéric Chopin dreams of a colourful world where he meets Polka, a girl with a terminal illness, and joins a journey against Count Waltz. Chapters are divided by live-action segments about Chopin’s life and performances of his music.

Battles mix turn-based and real-time play, and a character’s attacks change depending on whether they stand in light or shadow. A native port made by static recompilation runs on Windows, Linux, macOS and Android.
