Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation
Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation is an arcade flight combat game developed by Project Aces and published by Namco Bandai Games in 2007, exclusively for the Xbox 360. It was the series’ first game in high definition.
The player flies as Garuda 1 for the Republic of Emmeria, whose capital is taken in a surprise attack by the neighbouring Federal Republic of Estovakia. Missions are large battles on several fronts, where the player can call in allied support attacks, and the story is told partly through the lives of civilians caught in the war.
A native PC port made by static recompilation runs on Windows.
