Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Double Agent is a stealth action game published by Ubisoft in 2006, the fourth in the series. Sam Fisher, after the death of his daughter, goes undercover inside a domestic terrorist group, the John Brown’s Army, and must keep the trust of both the group and the NSA through his choices.

The game was made in two separate versions. The Xbox 360 and PC version came from Ubisoft Montreal, while the version for the original Xbox, PlayStation 2 and GameCube was built by Ubisoft Shanghai on the engine of Chaos Theory, with its own levels, missions and story structure, and the Versus multiplayer mode.

A native PC port of the original Xbox version, made by static recompilation, is available.
