Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction is an open-world action game developed by Pandemic Studios and published by LucasArts in 2005 for the Xbox and PlayStation 2. After a coup in North Korea, the player takes the role of one of three mercenaries hired to capture or kill the 52 leaders on a deck of cards.

The game is known for its destructible buildings, the many vehicles that can be hijacked, and air strikes ordered from a shop. Factions such as the Allies, China, South Korea and the Russian Mafia offer contracts, and their attitude toward the player shifts with every job.

A static recompilation of the Xbox version runs it natively on Windows.
