What you need: 007: From Russia with Love for the Xbox, USA or European release, as an ISO or the extracted disc files, from your own disc. Windows 10 64-bit, a processor with SSE4.2 and a Direct3D 12 graphics card.

007: From Russia with Love XBE Recomp is an unofficial native Windows port of the Xbox version of the Bond game, made with TGP482's Xbox XBE Recomp tool, the same tool behind the BLACK and Splinter Cell: Double Agent ports. The download holds the port's executable and its compiler but none of the game: the first start reads the player's own disc image and compiles the game's code for that PC.

The original 640x480 picture is replaced by any resolution the monitor offers, with render scaling from 20% to 200%, a field of view from 45 to 140 degrees, a custom or uncapped frame rate and HDR10 output. MSAA, SMAA, anisotropic filtering, draw distance up to eight times further and SSAO or GTAO ambient occlusion can be added, and the 4:3 movies can fill the screen or keep their shape.

It has full keyboard and mouse support with raw input and rebindable keys, and controllers through SDL3. A Free Aim option gives every gun the rocket launcher's over-the-shoulder aim instead of locking onto targets. Intro logos, cutscenes and chosen pop-ups can be skipped, the game can autosave after every level, and dropped bodies and weapons can be kept from disappearing.

## How to set it up

1. Download the zip and extract it into a folder of its own.
2. Put your ISO, or the extracted disc files, in the `assets` folder.
3. Run `007FRWL.exe`. The first start compiles the game's code for your PC, which happens only once.
4. Change the display, graphics and control settings in the in-game options menu or the overlay opened with F10.
