Def Jam: Fight for NY
Def Jam: Fight for NY is a fighting game developed by AKI Corporation with EA Canada and published by EA Sports BIG in 2004 for the Xbox, PlayStation 2 and GameCube. It is the sequel to Def Jam Vendetta and features hip-hop artists such as Snoop Dogg, Method Man, Busta Rhymes and Ice-T as fighters.
In the story mode the player creates a fighter and works for D-Mob in an underground war over New York’s fight clubs. Fighters mix five styles: street fighting, kickboxing, martial arts, wrestling and submissions, and can use the crowd and the surroundings as weapons. Up to four players can fight at once.
A native PC port of the Xbox version made by static recompilation is available.
