Dead or Alive 3
Dead or Alive 3 is a 3D fighting game developed by Team Ninja and published by Tecmo as a launch title for the Xbox in 2001. It continues the story of the Dead or Alive tournament and adds new fighters, including Hitomi, Brad Wong and Christie.
Its fighting system is built on a three-way balance of strikes, throws and holds, which counter attacks when timed right. Stages are large and multi-tiered: fighters can be knocked off ledges and through walls into new areas. Modes include Story, Time Attack, Survival and two-on-two Tag Battle.
A native PC port made by static recompilation, with online play, is available.
