Black
Black is a first-person shooter developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts for the Xbox and PlayStation 2 in 2006. The player is Sergeant Jack Kellar, a black ops soldier who tells the story of a mission in Eastern Europe to an interrogator between levels.
Criterion, the studio behind Burnout, built the game around the sound and feel of its weapons and around destruction: walls, cover and cars break apart under fire, and grenades and rocket launchers reshape the levels. Each mission has optional objectives, such as collecting documents, on the harder difficulty levels.
A native PC port of the Xbox version made by static recompilation is available.
