xemu

xemu is a free and open source emulator for the original Microsoft Xbox. It is based on QEMU and emulates the console’s hardware at a low level, which gives it good compatibility with Xbox kernels, games and homebrew.

It supports up to four controllers, save states, network play with other copies of xemu and with real consoles, and render scaling, so games that ran at 480p on the Xbox can be played at higher resolutions. Like a real console, xemu needs system files dumped from an Xbox before it can start games.

Builds are available for Windows (x86-64 and ARM64), macOS and Linux (AppImage). xemu is under active development, and the project keeps a compatibility list on its website that is updated by the community.
