DXBX is an Xbox emulator written in the Delphi programming language. Not a great deal is known about it, but it set out to tackle the huge task of emulating the Xbox.

The team made some significant progress, with a few games showing signs of being playable and a range of demos running successfully.

Development eventually stopped when the two core Delphi programmers the project relied on no longer had time to work on it. No other developers took their place, so the promising work done on DXBX was never completed.

For playing Xbox games today, xemu is the most compatible and actively developed Xbox emulator.
