About the Game
Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness was developed by Blizzard Entertainment and published in 1995 for MS-DOS, followed by the Beyond the Dark Portal expansion and the Battle.net Edition for Windows in 1999.
Players lead the Alliance of Lordaeron or the Horde through campaigns of base building and battles on land, sea and air, with fog of war hiding unexplored areas. It also had a map editor and multiplayer.
