Sid Meier's SimGolf
Sid Meier’s SimGolf was developed by Firaxis Games and published by Electronic Arts for Windows in 2002. It grew out of a golf course game Sid Meier made on his own, and was released under EA’s Sim label.
Players shape the land, lay out holes and fill a resort with clubhouses, hotels and other buildings, then keep the golfers who visit happy enough to pay for more. A personal golfer can play the course and take part in tournaments against famous names, and the game moves through courses in several climates, from parkland to desert and tropical islands.
A community rewrite plays it natively on today’s systems.
