About the Game

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind was developed by Bethesda Game Studios and released for Windows and the Xbox in 2002, followed by the Tribunal and Bloodmoon expansions. It is set on Vvardenfell, an island of the Dark Elf province of Morrowind, with alien landscapes, giant mushrooms and ash storms.

The player starts as a nameless prisoner and is free to explore, join guilds and great houses, or follow the main quest that ties them to an ancient prophecy. Skills improve with use, and the Construction Set shipped with the PC version made it one of the most modded games of its time.
