About the Game

LEGO Island was developed by Mindscape and published by LEGO Media for Windows in 1997. Players pick one of five characters and roam a small island in first person, on foot or in vehicles they build themselves, taking on jobs such as delivering pizzas, racing and helping the townsfolk.

The main goal is to recapture the Brickster, who escapes from jail and takes the island apart. Its humour, music and freedom made it a favourite of children at the time, and it was followed by two sequels.
