About the Game
Heroes of Might and Magic II: The Succession Wars was developed by New World Computing and published by The 3DO Company in 1996 for MS-DOS and Windows 95. The Price of Loyalty expansion followed in 1997.
Players lead heroes across an adventure map to gather resources, capture towns and recruit armies from six town types, then fight turn-based battles on a hex grid. The campaign follows the war between the brothers Roland and Archibald for the throne of Enroth, and the game’s hand-painted art and music remain much loved.
