About the Game
Dungeon Keeper was developed by Bullfrog Productions, led by Peter Molyneux, and published by Electronic Arts in 1997 for MS-DOS and Windows. The Deeper Dungeons expansion followed later that year.
Players are the keepers of underground dungeons, digging out rooms with imps to attract and keep creatures such as trolls, warlocks and dark mistresses, and defending them from heroes and rival keepers. Creatures can be possessed and controlled in first person, and the game’s dark humour made it a cult classic.
