About the Game

Carmageddon was developed by Stainless Software and published by SCi in 1997 for MS-DOS and Windows. Players race through open cities and industrial areas against rival drivers, and can win each event by finishing the laps, wrecking every opponent or hitting every pedestrian.

Its violence made it controversial: in some countries the pedestrians were replaced with zombies or robots. The Splat Pack expansion followed later in 1997.
