Xenon 2: Megablast

Xenon 2: Megablast is a vertical shooter through five levels of organic, fossil-filled worlds. You buy weapons and upgrades from Colin the trader between levels, and fight huge bosses at the end of each.

The Bitmap Brothers made it in 1989, with a version of Bomb the Bass’s Megablast as its theme. This is the 1990 PC version. It is still sold today.

How to set it up

1. Install DOSBox Staging or another DOS emulator.
2. Unzip the download into a folder of its own.
3. Start DOSBox Staging and type mount c "<folder>\xen2", where <folder> is where you unzipped the download, then c:.
4. Type XENON2.EXE to start the game.
