The Lost Vikings

The Lost Vikings is a puzzle platformer about three Vikings snatched from home by an alien collector. You switch between them to get all three to each exit: Erik runs and jumps, Baleog fights with sword and bow, and Olaf blocks attacks and glides with his shield.

Silicon & Synapse, the studio that became Blizzard, made it in 1993. This copy is Blizzard’s 2014 free re-release.

How to set it up

1. Install DOSBox Staging or another DOS emulator.
2. Unzip the download into a folder of its own.
3. Start DOSBox Staging and type mount c "<folder>\The Lost Vikings\VIKINGS", where <folder> is where you unzipped the download, then c:.
4. Type VIKINGS.EXE to start the game.
