The Black Cauldron is an adventure based on the Disney film. Taran, the pig keeper, must find the cauldron before the Horned King does, with help from Princess Eilonwy and Gurgi. Instead of typing commands, you play with the function keys, which made it easy for younger players.

Al Lowe designed it for Sierra in 1986, on the AGI engine, and it has several endings.

## How to set it up

1. Install [DOSBox Staging](/microsoft/ms-dos/emulator/dosboxstaging/) or another DOS emulator.
2. Unzip the download into a folder of its own.
3. Start DOSBox Staging and type `mount c "<folder>\cauldron"`, where `<folder>` is where you unzipped the download, then `c:`.
4. Type `BC.COM` to start the game.
