Telengard

Telengard is a dungeon crawler with fifty levels of randomly built corridors. You explore, fight monsters, drink from fountains and sit on thrones, take what you find back to the inn and level up, with no goal but to go deeper and grow stronger.

Daniel Lawrence wrote it, based on his earlier mainframe game DND, and Avalon Hill published it. This is the 1985 PC version.

How to set it up

1. Install DOSBox Staging or another DOS emulator.
2. Unzip the download into a folder of its own.
3. Start DOSBox Staging and type mount c "<folder>\telen", where <folder> is where you unzipped the download, then c:.
4. Type TELEN.EXE to start the game.
