Permanent Daylight is a short point-and-click adventure made with Adventure Game Studio, played like the old Sierra adventures with walk, look, use and talk icons. It is freeware.

How to set it up

  1. Install DOSBox Staging or another DOS emulator.
  2. Unzip the download into a folder of its own.
  3. The game needs CWSDPMI.EXE, a free DOS extender that many DOS games include. Copy it into the daylight folder first.
  4. Start DOSBox Staging and type mount c "<folder>\daylight", where <folder> is where you unzipped the download, then c:.
  5. Type DAYLIGHT.EXE to start the game.
