Meteor is an action game played across mission maps, such as a farm where you need a swipe card to reach the command centre. It has single-player games that can be saved, and its own menus with a mouse pointer.

James Bunting worked on it from 1998 to 2003, and this is version 1.0b. The game says it is freely available. If the screen fails to start, run it as `METEOR -res 320 200`.

## How to set it up

1. Install [DOSBox Staging](/microsoft/ms-dos/emulator/dosboxstaging/) or another DOS emulator.
2. Unzip the download into a folder of its own.
3. Start DOSBox Staging and type `mount c "<folder>\met100b"`, where `<folder>` is where you unzipped the download, then `c:`.
4. Type `METEOR.EXE` to start the game.
