Every game here can be shared freely: freeware, shareware and demo releases, public domain and open source games, and commercial games their owners have since given away. Each page says which it is.

They all run in a DOS emulator such as [DOSBox Staging](/microsoft/ms-dos/emulator/dosboxstaging/). A few adventure games run in ScummVM instead, and their pages say so.
