Grandmaster Chess is a chess program with a choice of 2D and 3D boards and sets, from glass and marble to robots and monsters. It can analyse positions, suggest moves, play through openings from its book and adjust its strength from beginner to master.

Capstone Software published it in 1992.

## How to set it up

1. Install [DOSBox Staging](/microsoft/ms-dos/emulator/dosboxstaging/) or another DOS emulator.
2. Unzip the download into a folder of its own.
3. Start DOSBox Staging and type `mount c "<folder>\GrandmasterChess"`, where `<folder>` is where you unzipped the download, then `c:`.
4. Type `CHESS.BAT` to start the game.
