Gods is a platform game in which a Greek hero climbs four worlds of a city taken over by monsters, to win a place among the gods. Levels are full of levers, keys and traps, and a shop between them sells weapons and upgrades. The enemies adapt to how well you are doing.

The Bitmap Brothers released it in 1991, with music by Nation 12. It is still sold today.

## How to set it up

1. Install [DOSBox Staging](/microsoft/ms-dos/emulator/dosboxstaging/) or another DOS emulator.
2. Unzip the download into a folder of its own.
3. Start DOSBox Staging and type `mount c "<folder>\gods"`, where `<folder>` is where you unzipped the download, then `c:`.
4. Type `GODS.COM` to start the game.
