Donald Duck’s Playground is a children’s game in which Donald takes jobs around Duckburg to earn money for new playground equipment for his nephews. The jobs are small games of their own, such as sorting toys or loading a train, and teach counting and handling money.

Al Lowe made it for Sierra in 1984, and this is the 1986 PC version built on Sierra’s AGI engine.

How to set it up

  1. Install DOSBox Staging or another DOS emulator.
  2. Unzip the download into a folder of its own.
  3. Start DOSBox Staging and type mount c "<folder>\Donald Duck's Playground", where <folder> is where you unzipped the download, then c:.
  4. Type SIERRA.EXE to start the game.
