Dark Woods 2 is a role-playing game written in QuickBASIC and drawn in text characters. It came out of the QBasic RPG scene of the early 2000s and comes with a map editor.

## How to set it up

1. Install [DOSBox Staging](/microsoft/ms-dos/emulator/dosboxstaging/) or another DOS emulator.
2. Unzip the download into a folder of its own.
3. Start DOSBox Staging and type `mount c "<folder>\Dwoods2"`, where `<folder>` is where you unzipped the download, then `c:`.
4. Type `DWOODS2.EXE` to start the game.
