Bob the Hamster is a maze game in which Bob digs through the earth collecting food, while rocks fall around him and creatures roam the tunnels. It includes an editor for making new levels.

Hamster Republic Productions made it in 1994, years before the studio's Official Hamster Republic Role Playing Game Creation Engine.

## How to set it up

1. Install [DOSBox Staging](/microsoft/ms-dos/emulator/dosboxstaging/) or another DOS emulator.
2. Unzip the download into a folder of its own.
3. Start DOSBox Staging and type `mount c "<folder>\bobthehamster"`, where `<folder>` is where you unzipped the download, then `c:`.
4. Type `BOB.EXE` to start the game.
