Bio Menace is a side-scrolling shooter in which CIA agent Snake Logan crash-lands in Metro City and fights his way through mutants created by the mad Dr. Mangle. It was made by Jim Norwood on the engine of Commander Keen, and it has three episodes.

3D Realms released the full game as freeware in 2005.

## How to set it up

1. Install [DOSBox Staging](/microsoft/ms-dos/emulator/dosboxstaging/) or another DOS emulator.
2. Unzip the download into a folder of its own.
3. Start DOSBox Staging and type `mount c "<folder>\biomenace"`, where `<folder>` is where you unzipped the download, then `c:`.
4. Type `BMENACE1.EXE` to start the game.
