Released: 2000
Console: Nintendo 64
Developer: Nintendo EAD

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask was developed by Nintendo for the Nintendo 64. It is known as a much darker game than the rest of the series. Its gameplay differs from earlier games, as it revolves around a repeating three-day cycle and masks that can transform Link.

Like its predecessor, the game received universal acclaim, but it did not sell as well, totalling 3.36 million copies worldwide.

The texture packs for Majora’s Mask vary quite a bit. While games like Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64 received a lot of attention from texture artists, Majora’s Mask saw little interest.

Thanks to the work of artists such as Djipi and Bluedart, however, there are now two complete texture packs available for Majora’s Mask.
