Amiberry

Amiberry is an Amiga emulator developed by Dimitris Panokostas (midwan) of BlitterStudio. It started as an emulator for the Raspberry Pi and other ARM boards, and is now built on the WinUAE emulation core, so its compatibility is close to WinUAE’s.

It emulates the whole Amiga range, including AGA machines and the CD32, and has its own JIT compiler for ARM64 and x86-64 processors, which makes it fast on low-power hardware. It can launch WHDLoad games directly with automatic configuration, and it has a Dear ImGui interface that works with a mouse or a gamepad, CRT shaders and bezels, drag and drop, and a built-in update checker.

Amiberry is actively developed: version 8.3.0 was released in August 2026. There are official builds for Windows (x64 and ARM64), macOS (universal) and Debian and Ubuntu based Linux, as well as a Flatpak, a Google Play version for Android and packages for FreeBSD and Haiku. It is open source under the GNU GPL version 3.
